These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TVWallMount.ca website and the services and products we provide in the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario) and the Lower Mainland (British Columbia). Please read them carefully. By booking a service, buying a product, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us & our services
TVWallMount.ca provides professional TV wall mounting, concealed (in-wall) cable management, soundbar and floating shelf installation, and the sale of TV mounts and related products. We serve the Greater Toronto Area and the Lower Mainland. The services available to you depend on your location, your wall type, and the condition of your space.
2. Quotes & pricing
- Prices shown on our website (for example, "$49 – $199") are starting ranges and estimates, not final quotes.
- Your final price depends on the TV size, wall type, number of items, cable concealment, and any extra work needed.
- If extra work or materials are required beyond what was booked, we will tell you and agree the additional cost with you before doing it.
- All prices are in Canadian dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes.
3. Bookings & deposits
- To book a service, a deposit (currently $50) is required to confirm and hold your appointment.
- The deposit is applied toward the total cost of your completed service.
- The balance is due once the work is completed, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- We will do our best to attend at the scheduled time, but appointment times are estimates and may shift due to traffic, weather, or earlier jobs running over. We will keep you informed.
4. Cancellations & reschedules
- You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us as early as possible before your appointment.
- If you reschedule with reasonable notice, your deposit normally carries over to the new appointment.
- If you cancel at short notice, fail to provide access, or are not present at the appointment, the deposit may be kept to cover our scheduling and travel costs.
- If we cancel and cannot offer a suitable alternative, your deposit is fully refunded.
5. Refunds
Once a service has been completed and accepted, fees for that service are non-refundable. If you are not satisfied with our workmanship, contact us promptly (see our warranty below) and we will work to put it right. Deposits are handled as described in the cancellation section above.
6. Buying a mount or product
- Product prices and availability are subject to change and may be corrected if an error occurs.
- Products may be supplied for self-installation or installed by us as part of a booked service.
- Returns of unused products in original condition may be accepted within a reasonable period — contact us to arrange a return.
- Manufacturer warranties (where they exist) apply to the products themselves; we pass these through but are not the manufacturer.
7. Getting your space ready
So we can complete your installation safely, you agree that:
- You own the property or have permission from the owner/landlord to mount on the wall.
- The area around the installation is reasonably clear and accessible.
- You will tell us about anything hidden inside the wall that you are aware of, such as wiring, water pipes, or gas lines.
- An adult (18+) will be present during the appointment.
Before we leave, we will show you the finished work. The on-site Installation Agreement sets out the full details of what we are and are not responsible for during the installation itself.
8. Workmanship warranty
We stand behind our work. If the mounting hardware we installed comes loose due to our workmanship within a reasonable period after installation, contact us and we will inspect and correct it. This warranty covers our installation work only. It does not cover the TV, the mount or bracket itself, the strength of your wall or building, damage caused after we leave, or problems caused by misuse, overloading, alterations, or accidents.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are responsible for our own workmanship and clear negligence, but not for hidden conditions in your wall or building that we were not told about and could not reasonably detect.
- We are not responsible for defects in the TV, mount, or bracket, or for the TV falling later due to wall or building failure, misuse, or events outside our control.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of use, lost time, or the cost of replacement equipment).
- Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service or product involved.
10. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
- Please provide accurate, current information when you register or book.
- We may suspend or close accounts that are misused or that breach these Terms.
11. Acceptable use of the website
You agree not to misuse the website, including attempting to gain unauthorized access, disrupt the site, submit false information, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
12. Intellectual property
The content on this website — including text, logos, images, and design — belongs to TVWallMount.ca or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the province in which the service is provided (Ontario or British Columbia) and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that province.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. By continuing to use our website or services after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
