Getting the throw distance right

Every projector has a throw ratio that fixes how far it must sit from the screen for a given picture size. We work this out before drilling, so the mount goes in the right place the first time instead of leaving extra holes in your ceiling.

Ceilings: joists, concrete and drop ceilings

In houses we fix into joists; in concrete condos we use concrete anchors (and never drill into post-tensioned slabs without checking). Drop ceilings need a dedicated support above the tiles, which we fit as part of the job.

Hiding the HDMI cable

The long HDMI run from your source to the projector is usually the hardest part. Where the ceiling allows, we run it inside; otherwise we use a paintable cover. Cable running is billed at our hourly rate so you only pay for what your room needs.
